Effective from 2026.11.04. This notice explains what personal data we process, why, for how long, and what rights you have. It is based on the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Act CXII of 2011 on the right to informational self-determination.

2. What data do we process, why, and for how long?
Orders and invoicing
Name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, company name and tax number for businesses, ordered products and payment details. Purpose: fulfilling the contract, staying in contact, invoicing. Legal basis: performance of a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)); for invoice data, legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c), Accounting Act). Retention: data related to accounting records is kept for 8 years; the rest until warranty and guarantee claims expire (at most 5 years).
Quote requests, contact, callbacks
Name, email address, phone number, company name, message content. Purpose: preparing the quote and staying in contact. Legal basis: your consent and steps prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(a) and (b)). Retention: 2 years from closing the case, or until you withdraw consent.
Chat (AI assistant)
Messages you type in the chat and – if you provide them – your name and contact details. Purpose: answering your questions and the callback you request. Replies are generated by an artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude); messages are forwarded to this provider for that purpose. Legal basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Retention: 1 years, or, if you provide contact details, as described under quote requests. Please don’t enter sensitive personal data in the chat.
Statistics and cookies
Saját, sütiket nem használó látogatásmérést végzünk: nem tárolunk IP-címet, a látogatót egy naponta változó, visszafejthetetlen azonosító különbözteti meg; az adatokat legfeljebb 400 napig őrizzük. Ha a süti-sávon hozzájárulsz, a Microsoft Clarity hőtérképet és látogatásfelvételt készít (a beírt adatokat elrejtve), illetve a Google Tag Manager mérőkódjai betöltődnek. Jogalap: hozzájárulás, amelyet a lábléc „Süti-beállítások” linkjén bármikor visszavonhatsz. A működéshez szükséges sütiket (munkamenet, kosár, a süti-döntésed) mindig használjuk; ezek nem igényelnek hozzájárulást.
3. Who can access the data? (data processors)

- SimplePay Zrt., 1138 Budapest, Váci út 135-139. B. ép. 5. em. – bankkártyás fizetés.
- GLS General Logistics Systems Hungary Kft. – parcel delivery (name, address, phone number, email).
- The email service provider handling our mail – notification and confirmation emails.
- Anthropic PBC (USA) – generating chat replies; data transfers are based on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
- Microsoft Corporation (Clarity) és Google Ireland Ltd. – csak a sütikhez adott hozzájárulás esetén.
- Accountant and invoicing software provider – for invoicing and accounting.
4. Your rights
You can request information about the data we hold about you, and request its correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to its processing; where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time. We’ll reply to your request within 30 days at the latest (kapcsolat@helloenergia.hu). You can file a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11., naih.hu), or go to court.
5. Data security
We receive data over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), store passwords in a form that cannot be decrypted, and only authorized staff can access the data. The web shop never sees or stores bank card details.
